Salary Range

$161,100 to $172,600 per year

Position Summary

Mainstay Life Services, a $28M nonprofit organization providing life-long, high-quality support services ensuring that people with intellectual disabilities and autism (ID/A) lead fulfilling lives, is recruiting for an exciting opportunity to provide leadership and oversight of all clinical and supportive service programs and operations. The Chief Program Officer (CPO) develops and implements strategic priorities for all Residential, Behavioral Health, Behavior Supports, Employment, and Community-based programs. The CPO will also provide oversight and development for specialized programming including supports for people who live with Prader-Willi Syndrome and other rare conditions. The CPO will evaluate program effectiveness and implement best practices for integrated, person-centered, trauma-informed care and support in service of the mission of Mainstay: to provide life-long, high-quality support services, ensuring that people with intellectual disabilities and autism lead fulfilling lives.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CPO responsibilities include ensuring that all program and services are achieving performance standards, program and leadership development and integrating clinical and program leadership. The CPO supervises the Director of Program Operations and Director of Quality & Performance Improvement. Strategic priorities include enhancing Mainstay’s technology first approach in residential services, growing and developing services for people who live with Prader-Willi Syndrome, and expanding our service reach in Pennsylvania.

The position requires a master’s degree from an accredited college or university – in human services or related field -AND- (7)+ years of related experience working program operations in human services (or with individuals who experience behavioral health disorders, intellectual disability and autism). Experience with 6100/6400/6500 regulations preferred. Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license. Use of personal vehicle may be required.
