Monday, June 27 was a perfect day for more than 180 friends of Mainstay Life Services to enjoy a great day for a great cause at The Club at Nevillewood!

The 15th Annual Charlie Ross Memorial Charity Golf Outing – co-chaired by Ryan Casciani and Janna Chiurazzi Young – grossed more than $172,000. Funds raised from this event help the people we work for to live their best life. Projects supported by the event include acquiring technology and software that promotes health, wellness, safety and independence, supporting the interests and talents of the people we work for, and much more.

One hundred thirty-eight (138) golfers took to the course for a scramble or play your own ball format. The top teams were:

Pre-golf, participants toasted to a great day with Mainstay Mimosas and enjoyed a delicious lunch and great company. Throughout the day on the course players took part in skills contests and were refreshed not only by the beverage cart and coolers, but also at the Links Brewery tent.

The day wrapped up at with a dinner, top-notch silent auction (coordinated by Mary and Bill Mitchell), awards, and music from guitarist Bruce Guay (Acoustical Bruce). Winners of the 50/50 as well as the putting contest and mega drawing all donated back their prizes!

A bonus that finished out the day was an Oreo ice cream treat as a tribute to Charlie Ross who absolutely loved ice cream and enjoyed it on an everyday basis.
