On the last Monday in June, 126 golfers hit the links at The Club at Nevillewood for the 16th Annual Charlie Ross Memorial Charity Golf Outing. Golfers were interrupted by not only one but two storms, with the second ending the outdoor portion of the day. Golfers were joined by 30+ additional guests in the ballroom where the fun, great food, friendship – and fundraising – continued. Big thanks to co-chairs Ryan Casciani and Janna Chiurazzi Young for leading the effort and making it another successful event, grossing more than $169,000!

Funds raised from the outing are contributed to the Irene and Dr. Walter Jacob Supplemental Needs Fund and make it possible to fulfil our mission and help the people we work for to live their best lives! Projects supported include:

• Technology supports like Wellbridge Health virtual health coaching, StationMD telehealth services, and even electric bikes.
• Recreational travel both near and far.
• Adapted physical training and exercise programs like Eruption Athletics, which provide a fun, positive and safe environment to develop socially, intellectually, and physically.
• Art classes that encourage self-expression and demonstrate talent.
• And much more!

Before the shotgun start, participants enjoyed Mainstay Mimosas, a delicious lunch, and great company. Until they were called in from the course, players took part in skills contests and were refreshed not only by the beverage cart and coolers, but also at the Links Brewery tent.

The day wrapped up with a top-notch dinner, an incredible silent auction (led by Janna Chiurazzi-Young, Melinda S. Kaiser and Natalie Schlimmer), awards, prizes, and music from guitarist Bruce Guay (Acoustical Bruce).
