Rain Couldn’t Stop a Record-Breaking Day of Impact

Despite the weather, the outing was an overwhelming success, grossing $185,000 to support Mainstay’s mission. As the organization’s only annual fundraising event, the Golf Outing benefits the Irene & Walter Jacob Supplemental Needs Fund, which helps provide resources and opportunities that enhance independence, wellbeing, and quality of life for the people Mainstay supports.
Guests enjoyed a day of connection, friendly competition, fundraising activities, and an evening program that celebrated the impact of the Mainstay community. A special highlight was the presentation of the Enriching Lives and Unlocking Potential Award to volunteer artist Binu Advani, whose 20 years of leading art classes have inspired creativity, confidence, and joy for countless people.
The success of the outing reflects the generosity of the many businesses, organizations, and individuals who continue to invest in Mainstay’s mission. Every sponsorship, underwriting, donation, auction bid, and participant helped to create opportunities for people to live meaningful lives filled with choice, connection, and community.
The 2026 Enriching Lives and Unlocking Potential Award was presented to Binu Advani.
