Through its CPS program, Mainstay helps people discover opportunities for community inclusion, build their interests, and develop skills. CPS encourages active and valued participation in a range of activities that build on a participant’s interests, preferences, gifts, choices, and strengths.

What is CPS?

Community Participation Support is offered to help people actively participate in their community, with support as needed. This could include helping people to learn about money so they can shop independently at the neighborhood grocery store, participate in sports and fitness activities at a local gym, and attend programs at their community library. The goal is for people to be integrated into their community life, and CPS is carried out in the context of a person’s desired outcomes for employment, and community involvement and membership.
